diving methods that exceed limits imposed on depth and/or  time for recreational scuba diving. Technical diving often involves the use of special gas mixtures and no immediate access to the surface.

Cave Diving

generally considered to be a type of technical diving due to the lack of a immediate surface access during large parts of the dive, and often involves decompression.

First Aid

emergency care or treatment given to an ill or injured person before regular medical aid can be obtained.
